MAXIMILIAN by Florence & Sylvia Van Clief Heide

Email this review

Maximilian the mouse who thinks he'd rather be a bird discovers that he doesn't like the nest part, or the worm part, or the getting-up-early part -- not even the flying part; being a mouse is rather pleasant after all. This little squeak of a story stretches out over page after page of text and some hideous myopic illustrations -- a minimal idea made into a mountain.
