KIRKUS REVIEW

Like Your other Friend, the Insect (1968, p. 464, J-170), this serves forth facts in the form(at) of poetry, here about thirteen useful trees. Alan Cober's illustrations are somewhat clearer this time but the text is equally inept. Here is the send-off for Western Hemlock, as printed: ""A party! And a lovely shiny dress to wear, a dress as pretty as silk, a rayon dress made from a tree."" Gee.
