WHICH BOOKS BELONG IN THE BIBLE?

Which Books Belong in the Bible? provides an interesting and quickly read treatment of the many-sided discussion of the ""Canon of Holy Scripture"". It is comprehensive enough to expect it to be useful additional reading for seminary students. Its readers among the general reading public would be few. Its technical subject restricts the readers to those in some measure familiar with the subject matter. ""The purpose of the book,"" says Professor Filson, ""is to consider whether the Church should have a Scripture"", what books should be included in it, and why."" In this he has admirably succeeded.
