AS SOLDIERS SEE IT

An unusual venture this -- and one that a good many people will find worth while. There are some experienced artists in the group who have contributed to this sequence of drawings of army life; there are newcomers, who may be heard from later. Other wars have had their artistic expression; Winslow Homer left a record of the Civil War, Frederic Remington of the Indian Wars. Now these soldiers at Fort Custer have given us their record of fragments of life, recreation, group experiences, humor, pathos, and the human side of army life.
