KIRKUS REVIEW

How can Mary Smith -- on record as having been murdered --establish and prove her identity? Her search becomes Martin Hale's and, in occupying her old apartment in Greenwich Village, his involvement keeps him busy on old leads, new angles and a track-' em-down through the suburbs of New York. Cliff hangs nicely without the assistance of the Norths and their pal Bill.
