KIRKUS REVIEW

Captain Welgand and the police trailing Pam North as she and Jerry are proved correct in their suspicions of the formidable jokes of their neighbor Wilmot. A murder re-enacted, a dummy tossed out of a window, Wilmot's killing keep Pam picking up the pieces which lead to the FBI and international espionage, as his victims, past and present confuse the current problem. Crisp and cryptic as before.
