The never-failingly pleasant Mr. and Mrs. North are here enjoined to protect one of Mrs. North's aunts from the charge of killing an old friend. Pam gets little assist from Jerry or Lt. Weigand but on her own refines her interviewing to the point where, in suspecting the worst, she almost gets it. Via lovely nonsequiturs which lead to far reaching sidepaths, Pam continues in fine fettle.
