KIRKUS REVIEW

An enchanting picture story book about a little girl who lived on an island and who went to visit her summer friends, the German couple who had given Lucinda the music box from across the sea, in the season when the blue bonnets were in bloom. Lucinda has all sorts of entrancing friends, with amusing names. And the pictures by Heleh Sewell are just what they ought to be.
