KIRKUS REVIEW

Jean and her artist-detective, Patrick Abbot, of The Turquoise Shop, jostle with murder next door in Jean's midwestern home town when a wealthy virago is found dead. The lady's three daughters, and the fiance of one, trustee of her estate, with their varied financial and emotional problems give Patrick plenty to mull over. Light, ladylike, with romantic sideplay for Patrick and Jean. Nice.
