KIRKUS REVIEW

The standard Poulsson book is still in use, but definitely dates with modern children. This new collection of finger plays has a group of recognisable things of every day importance to the small child. Combined with the finger plays, are photographs and action rhymes, which fit neatly into the suggestions for accompanying finger plays. The author is a kindergartner of both practical and theoretical experience, her specialty musical training. Apparently she has found that the use of action rhymes and finger plays with children is important and successful. This should stimulate the teacher or parent to further efforts on her own part.
