KIRKUS REVIEW

This isn't literature, but it reads as good authentic contemporary early been material -- this collection of twenty two stories taken from Calling All Girls. This is a magazine similar in size and format to Story Parade, but definitely keyed to girls of this age group who want to read about dates and first formals and school activities and sports and who like to get hints on how to get along without any moral tags. Most of the author names are not well known to the book public, but the general level of the writing is competent and easy, though not distinguished.
