LUCY ELLEN'S HEYDAY

The gay, friendly college girl, Lucy Ellen, with a quip on her lip, leaves school to take over the mountainous job of running her suddenly incapacitated father's farm back home in Tennessee. How Lucy Ellen accomplishes this incredible undertaking is a humorous and rather spirited story. Her love problems will interest older girls and her solution, complete to white satin, will engross them, too. There is a good tobacco auction and other farm details, and amusing younger brother and sister problems. One of a series but complete in itself.
