KIRKUS REVIEW

Bruce cared a great deal more about baseball than anything else, and it was hard to give up a place on the squad and go off with his famous explorer-lecturer parents to the South American jungles. And once there, it didn't look as though he'd be taken along on a jungle expedition in search of snakes. But he put the same zest into doing his share that he'd put into baseball, and it all turned out to be very exciting experience. Good yarn with the sort of factual natural history that boys interested in the subject will find good reading for ten and up.
