THE INNER WORLD OF MAN by Frances G. Wickes

THE INNER WORLD OF MAN

By

Pub Date: Oct. 18th, 1938
Publisher: Farrar & Rinehart

A psychoanalyst introduces to the layman the inner reality of multitude selves, below the surface. She follows closely the Jung ideology, but makes it clear through case histories. The first part of the book takes, step by step, the various facets, -- the ego, the shadow, the image we build of ourselves, the influences that change our relations to life, etc. The last part of the book follows successive analyses, which demonstrate the points she has made previously. Not a text book, but a book, definitely of interest to those who have some background, not necessarily professional, in the field. Additional sale for the large public interested in dream interpretation.
