Want to check out a new lover, friend, or business partner? This is probably the best available guide to the astrological bases of interpersonal reactions, which are established by a highly detailed comparison of natal charts. ""Detailed"" means taking each planet of one person's chart and computing, (1) its position in the house of the other person; (2) its conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions to each of the other person's planets; (3) the conjunct, square, sextile, and trine relationships of their north nodes, south nodes, ascendants, descendants, mid-heavens, and nadirs--and then doing this for each of the nine other planets (these, of course, include the sun and moon). Not to mention a general checking up on the quadruplicities and triplicities. Things sound a lot more complicated than they actually are, because the authors organize their categories carefully and present everything in a clear and cogent fashion--clear to the astrology adept, that is. Those who think a house is something that has four walls and a bathroom, or who have no idea why two Aries might cause sparks, might do better with a book more clearly aimed at the beginner.
