THE GRAND ROGUE

Pub Date: April 28th, 1958

Megan Connaught bought Rogue, a spirited stallion, at auction though she couldn't afford him. Financial finagling and a loan from her father straightened out her predicament until her family discovered the horse's outlaw background. When Meg is thrown by Rogue, family prognostications of accidents and injury could not quell her faith in her animal or her determination to prove his superiority. There is credibility to the family relationships and to the spunky character of the girl who proves her horse is a champion at the horse show and finds romance with Mike Rhodes, who shared her faith in Rogue.
