Mr. and Mrs. North and Detective Lieutenant Weigand indulge in much conversational crag jumping in the deaths of an unknown man and a postman. Mrs. North's hunches, her knowledge of a lobster dish and her cat's habits do much towards helping Weigand solve the case. Pleasant reading with the Norths reliably likable. Nice going.
