It is a real contribution and a book that should have a good sale throughout the year of the New York World's Fair and be a permanent facet of the American picture in books. The story of the gift made by the people of France to the people of America, of the sculptor Bartholdi's dream come true, and of the stupendous task of creating the mammoth statue.
