KIRKUS REVIEW

Homely little helping of the simple things of love, in the story of Susan, wealthy heiress, preyed upon by her selfish mother and stepsister, who goes to the country to think things through. She goes under an alias; she helps out a friendly couple starting a country eating place; she catches the eye and heart of a country doctor. He is engaged -- not too happily -- and Susan plays dea ex machina, disentangles the knots for everyone, including herself and gets the prize. Gentle but readable.
