KIRKUS REVIEW

No information accompanied the galley as to exactly where or when these collected stories first appeared. Except for occasional references to W.W. II, they might have been written yesterday, for the concerns of female short fiction are as unchanging as a healthy heartbeat. First date follows first dance followed by first love followed by big romance and so forth and so on as seen through a glass rosily. The heroines either get the boy or The Right Attitude. None of the stories are outstanding, most have a neat, commercial click -- and no surprises.
