LOOKING FOR ORLANDO

For a group as morally bound as the Pennsylvania Quakers, the Underground Railroad gave rise to problems outside the complications of its practical operation. Young Sam straddled the fence pondering the discrepancy between man's law and God's law until he happened upon Orlando Jones, intelligent self-taught runaway slave. Once having made his choice, Sam becomes increasingly involved in the full scale operation of the Railroad and convinced of its justification. Sam's life as a ""conductor"" leads him down many dangerous avenues all of which end in safe transport to Canada for these hard-pressed people. Orlando's fate is even more dramatic as his former owner's son buys his freedom. A suspenseful drama that will educate as well as entertain.
