SEAPLANE SOLO

Might be a dark horse success, if it gets a right start, for it's grand reading, exciting and novel. A very human flier, with his share of human frailties, tells of his flight across the Tasman sea, stopping at Norfolk Island and Lord Howe's Island, in a made over Moth, which had already done 33,000 miles and wasn't quite sure of itself as a seaplane. His vicissitudes, the excitement of the actual flying, the wreck, his stay on the islands -- all told with punch and gusto.
