MAPLE SUGAR FOR WINDY FOOT

Another in the series about the energetic Clark family in the maple sugar country of New England. Twelve-year-old Toby, owner of the pony, Windy Foot, and his younger brother and sister work and play with their parents through the excitement of the sugar season, give a sugaring-off party and plan for a wonderful Easter with their friends. However, the floods come and all but wipe out the valley. The Clarks work to recover their losses and their neighbors. Family relationships here are intimate and real, although perhaps the family seems almost too light-hearted in disaster.
