THINGS TO LIVE FOR

A spiritual autobiography of the author of Pigeon Irish. The Coloured Dome, etc. There is the same elusive charm, the same seeking after abstractions, the same deification of beauty, that characterizes his novels, but there is greater clarity, better integration. The slender thread of the facts of his life is almost lost in the philosophical attitude, the eternal seeking. A book for the Francis Stuart fans, but not a book which is apt to widen his market. Buy carefully.
