This material appeared some years ago, but is brought up to date in this boys' life of Edison which should link in with the popularity of the picture. The Young Edison. This -- and the Meadowcroft biography ( Harper ) -- should fill the need. The Miller biography is more anecdotal, more up-to-date; the Meadowcroft was written some years before Edison's death and is incomplete in so far as data on his later years. In format, this book seems already outmoded, with its old-fashioned illustrations and the cheap looking paper and layout.
