KIRKUS REVIEW

Needing no introduction, France's author gift to youthful Americans has joyously triumphed again in this her latest --about a little mouse who joined a circus in order to implement her family's income. Small Trot becomes a charming and famous success as she sings, rides and dances across continents with the establishment of the delighted Mr. Ratapian and in the end enables her mother to take life more easily. The enthusiasm and gaiety of the simply written story and the wonderfully colorful pictures continue to bespeak the author's very rich imagination. Cloth bound and closely stitched.
