BIQUETTE

A little tale of a little girl Mimi and a goat, with those wonderfully pointless incidents that the artful simplicity of Francoise's brush and pen turns into enchantment. Biquette is sent by Miss Sophie to provide goat's milk for anemic Mimi. Miss Sophie makes Biquette a red coat that causes the townspeople to ridicule the poor goat. On the train trip to Mimi, Biquette gives her yellow scarf to the engineer. At Mimi's Biquette is an excellent companion, milk provider, no longer wears her red coat, and all ends well.
