THE APACHE INDIANS

The Apache Indians, out towards Arizona, were difficult, their history, in conflict with the whites, was a bloody one. This book recounts the struggles, gives sketches of the chieftains, but is written as dead history rather than live drama. Possibly valuable as an historical record, very evidently authentic and based on personal interviews, written sources, etc., but all the life has been squeezed out of the subject and it smells musty! Can't see a general market.
