FLIGHT FROM TERROR

The autobiography of the leader of the Black Front, in more personal detail than his earlier Hitler and I. The book opens with Strasser's reluctant association with the embryonic Nazi group in opposition to postwar Communism, only to break with Hitler over the socialistic aims of the party. From disfavor to pursuit, as Strasser declared himself an open adversary, attacking all members of the Party, organizing the Black Front, he was forced to hide out across Europe, his life in peril. During this time his wife was tortured, his brother murdered. Sensational handling -- but we doubt very live interest in another Strasser book.
