TELEVISION, THE MAGIC WINDOW

It would seem that anyone in this age group interested enough to wan to know about television could strike out at something a little more worthy of mental concentration than this rather poularized, glossed over telling of ""the magic window's"" history and mechanics. It is personalized to the point of responding to nudges from imaginary girl assistants. Not too sickeningly sweet though, it does present the whole story from Joseph May's Ireland cable station in 1873 to today's average living room. But there's more adequate information elsewhere.
