Mr. Edwards' Flying Saucers--Serious Business proved that Flying Saucers were Big Business as the book sailed along on the best seller lists for months. All you really need to know about this addendum is that it records sightings since 1966 by all kinds of worthy citizens from the Florida Governor to U.S. astronauts to scientists, policemen, astrologers etc. While testifying to the credibility of his witnesses, Mr. Edwards also dismisses ""contactee"" stories such as that of the Barney Hills' (Interrupted Journey) as pure bunk. He also compares the history of UFO recordings with the proposed space exploration program set up in Washington (aren't they doing exactly what we'd be doing if we set out to take on an extraterrestrial civilization?) The reports are impressive; the U.S. Air Force takes its usual browbeating and the book is illustrated with photographs taken by observers ranging from James McDivitt (U.S. astronaut) to teenagers. For anyone who does not find the subject out-land-ish.
