FORT EVERGLADES

The red men, the white men, and one with a beautiful brown, Dr Royal Coe, who to forget his love for Irene, who had suicided, had submerged himself in the wilderness of the Florida Everglades- at this time a hunting ground for the savage Seminoles. There he falls in love with Mary Grant, only to learn that she is to marry his best friend, and with the Indian invasion of the Keys, Mary is captured, freed only through Royal's surgical services to the Indian chief's wife. Some further rounds, military and romantic, see an end to all this, and Royal's love for this woman needs no longer violate his loyalty to his friend. Again a full dress period performance for manly virtues and womanly responses and those broken hearts which Slaughter sutures easily. Rentals.
