THE WHISPERING MASTER

Johnny Fletcher and Sam Cragg, still short on cash but long on ingenuity, involved in some fanciful, financial finagling as well as the murder of a girl in possession of the master record of a dead vocalist. Fletcher, pryamiding a bank account on credit, spends the rest of his time investigating the officers of a record company, tangles with some boys who play rougher than he does, but survives to break the case for the police...Enterprising certainly, and entertaining for those who like this series.
