A New York commercial artist and his girl are involved in three deaths which all link into the artist's studio. The how of the killing is easy; the who and the why keep the amateur Shylocks and the New York police on their toes. Belongs to the somewhat repetitious ""little-did-I-know"" school, and it is easy to spot the murderer, but the motives are buried in past history. Readable, but not grade A.
