KIRKUS REVIEW

A long revenge takes an Alcatraz parolee to the near East where he plans to kill the brother who had once betrayed him and now heads an archaeological expedition. Instead, he gets his hands on a sacred scroll, avoids a further criminal charge-murder, and in a redemptive finale is purged and cleared.... Moves fast, if not always clearly, which is probably one of the objectives in this genre- action intrigue.
