A brief introductory section tells the story of our own Mountain Division in war, from training to service in Italy. But the major part of the book is a how-to-do-it book, based on fundamental principles closely linked with the structure of skis. We've not seen the 32 pages of photographs and the 25 diagram inserts, but are told that they give the book all one could ask by way of practical usability.
