Compare with Hader book -- Picture Book of the States. Arrangement differs in that this is planned as an atlas is planned, alphabetically, the other follows the geography arrangement. Maps very similar, though humor keener in Hader book. Text in Hader book arranged topically; in this book, as a running text. This book includes more historical background, less economic and social development of individual sections, and less emphasis (in both maps and text) topography. The Taylor book is a bigger book, all over size and number of pages, and a beautiful job in book making.
