A REAL GONE GUY

Johnny Liddell, a private eye, is hired by an unknown girl- on the telephone- to prove that the death of Lorenzo, an undesirable character, was a bought and paid for homicide and Liddell is set up as a target, after a second murder, for policeman Ryan who likes to bring his men in feet first- and not on their feet. There are more-for the morgue- as well as many possible killers but Liddell is able to sell and prove his case to the police. In the rough- but no diamond.
