THE COMMON CHORD

A collection of short stories, of Irish extraction, that have the rhythm and of the people about whom they are written. There is much of the Church, its those who seek comfort and assurance there; there are children, wanted and there are men and women and the circumstances which offer a turn to the situa- there are moral issues in contrast to personal actions. The effect of humor is with satire and an unminoing reality -- the whole providing a specialty for those in the field of the short story.
