KIRKUS REVIEW

One of those private operatives with a fair amount of tensile resilience, this introduces Mike Cavanaugh, when he is hired by Liza Wilson to keep his eye on her older brother, Roger, who is about to do away with her younger brother, Ted. With Roger's death however Cavanaugh changes his affiliations and investigation, probes beyond the very pretty face value of Liza to the factors of illegitimacy and money which propel the killer. Strenuous, but not too smart.
