THE ROBIN FAMILY KEEPS CHRISTMAS

In the English tradition of humanized animal stories, this chirpy little tale tells of an errant father robin and his hard working, concerned family who all get together at the end for Christmas. Off to hunt his fortune, Mr. R. has his fun and troubles while his wife and children housekeep, make Christmas cards and so forth. But he returns, laden with gifts to their little Tea Kettle house and environs, so charmingly depicted in the author's two tone drawings. Morals in miniature.
