KIRKUS REVIEW

This brief biography forms an enco to the man who had more to do with developing the Diesel locomotive than any other individual. It gives a colorful picture of Dilworth's background, his history and personality. Most of all it shows the trail of his achievements as he worked on the passenger and freight Diesel locomotives with skill acquired in the Navy, at G. E., and elsewhere without the help of formal education. Definitely limited.
