LET'S FIND OUT ABOUT CHRISTMAS

What every Christian child already knows about Christmas in words that will not offend anyone else, all wrapped up in proper red and green (including some bright red faces we can only assume to stand for Negroes). ""What is Christmas"" precedes the gamut of festivities from going to church to evergreens and poinsettia (""after amah named Poinsett"") to sending cards and a visit from St. Nick (himself--handing out gifts), all in predictable subject-predicate sequence. Except for a rather dubious largesse (sailing ship and drum and book under the family tree, baseball gear for ""people in need"" in the hospital ward), a clear middle-class mirror for those who care to take a look.
