KIRKUS REVIEW

An introduction by Dan Beard leads off an array of articles by various on such sports and hobbies as trout fishing, parlor magic, stamp collecting, mountain climbing, bird walks, archery, skiling, etc. Interspersed are short stories about wild life and the woods. Naturally, the information covers so wide a range that it is elementary, but useful for beginners. Excellent ""family"" book.
