MALIK AND AMINA

Malik and Amina, two young members of the Kadok tribe from Chinese Turkistan, are arrested in Mecca, and consequently miss the caravan which is returning to their native land. Thus their treacherous journey begins-- mishap follows upon confusing mishap until by a roundabout route, they reach their worried father. Sand, sand, sand and endless trudging, trudging, trudging leads to father for the children, but only to boredom for the reader.
