The Formerly Fat Psychiatrist is also a goldfish freak; here he introduces Sam and some other finned friends, seeing in them faint parallels to the human population. In journal-like entries, Dr. Rubin ruminates on affection and detachment, contentment and dysfunction, all the while edgy about Sam (does he have gas?) and uncertain about a new fish in the tank (does he have ""ich""). Ech. Even those at sea--who've responded to Dr. Rubin's advice in the past--should pass up this brooding trifle.
