KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a valuable addition to the hobby library, although --as in other volumes of the series -- it does not seem to me to be quite basic enough to serve as a beginner's book. Definitely directed towards amateurs, the author assumes the possession of a manual explaining the fundamentals. From that point, he goes on to a constructive presentation of hows and whys of snapshots, time exposures, black and white photography, color photography, movies, developing, printing, enlarging, and recurrently, equipment and tools.
