KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a pippin. A grand yarn of an insufferable small boy who makes himself head of the gang, glorifying his prowess and importance by playing up his being The Small Boy -- until all his plans are turned topsy-turvy by the arrival in the neighborhood of a Smaller Boy. A good neighborhood gang story.
