WHERE ARE THE CUSTOMERS' YACHTS

A delightful satire on Wall Street and its minions, including the poor, deluded customers. As a lowly customer's man, the author knows the inside story, and reveals, with no inhibitions, the strange phenomena that occur in the minds of bankers, brokers, investors, gamblers, widows and orphans. He pokes fun at the ""chartists"" who can predict every minute change; though they may have lost their shirts they have kept their charts. He gives some humorous experiences of the big shots who prophesy --then alibi. He has little charity for his own class, though he makes one feel that if one must play the market, at least one might have some fun playing with him, ""fooling around with fools' advice"". The author of Wacky is going to make a lot of people mad -- but he will give a lot of others fun at their own -- and others -- expense. Illustrated by Peter Arno.
