THE SECOND BOOK OF LOST SWORDS: Sightblinder's Story

Sightblinder, the Sword of Stealth, makes the onlooker see whatever he or she desires, or fears, most. When Prince Mark and his sword Shieldbreaker are abducted by a horrible griffin, strongman Ben and young warrior Zoltan set forth to track them down. With the help of ex-queen Yambu, they arrive at the wizard Honan-Fu's castle, only to discover that both Mark and Honan-Fu have been captured and unpleasantly imprisoned by the evil wizard Wood, who has apparently time-travelled from the past and now commands a squad of demons. Ben, Zoltan and Yambu devise a strategy for entering Wood's stronghold and freeing the captives--a strategy that depends on Sightblinder, one of the lost Swords of Power, now held by an ignorant peasant boy who has his own romantic notions of how to employ the sword. Since Wood now controls the invincible Shieldbreaker, the allies will need some timely help from the mysterious wizard-Emperor before the assault can begin. An about-average workout for the Swords.
